Normal operation is controlled fully from the sleeper control panel
1. Turn the fan control to the off position (fully anti-clock wise).
2. Turn key and hold in start position until engine starts (fully clock wise).
3. Allow engine to run for 15 seconds.
4. Set the fan and temperature control knobs.
1. Turn the key to the off position (fully anti-clock wise).
2. Press and hold stop button until the engine stops.
Every 10 hours
• Check engine oil level
• Check engine run speed
Every 100 hours
• Change engine oil
• Drain fuel filter
• Inspect and clean air filter element
• Remove dust from alternator and condenser with compressed air
• Check and adjust drive belt tension (replace belts if necessary)
• Inspect wiring for chaffing and security
• Inspect fuel hoses for security, chaffing and leakage
• Inspect airconditioning hoses for security, chaffing and oil stains
• Inspect Icepack to truck mountings for loose bolts and worn bushes
• With key turned on and engine not running check Icepack electric fan operation
• With Icepack running check for unusual vibration and noises
• Check receiver drier sight glass for discolouration
Every 500 hours
• Change receiver drier
• Flush refrigerant system and refill with new sp10 pag oil and R134a refrigerant
• Replace fuel filter
• Replace air cleaner element |
